These Photos indexes include several specific subcollections which are all mixed up when posted, so alternatively they also got their own index page to improve access, as listed below.
The global organization is as follows (which can be different from the actual page trees):
- Photos (link in page header)
- Series (link in page header)
- Uncategorized photos
- Architecture
- Industrial
- Building-sites (linked in Series)
- Packaging (linked in Series)
- Documentary
- Building-sites (linked in Series)
- Still-Life

- Found Object
- Photos in Rhombus format
- Abstract
- Abstract Photos
- Abstract Graphics
- Abstract Objects
- Artificial realism (AI generated)
- Photo-realistic images
- Still-life
- Found object
- Surrealism [Not yet implemented]
This website also contains modified photos, graphics, abstracts, and computer or AI generated images, the latter notably in Abstract and on the 'Artificial realism' pages. To distinguish them from pure photography one or more of following classifications are added as a footnote to a page when necessary:
- A page with footnote "Artificial coloring" contains B/W photos which are digitally colored in a post process (similar to hand-colored wet prints).
- A page with footnote "Improved reality®" contains photos that are edited more than average; the photo(s) and also the text don't necessarily reflect reality.
- The Abstract Object pages have a footnote "Synthetic 3D®" because the 3D objects are computer generated (not with AI).
- A page with footnote "Artificial realism" contains AI generated imagery in a photorealistic style.
- A page with footnote "Artificial abstract" contains AI generated abstract imagery.
Archives - Film and Digital
In index Series an overview of all themed and ongoing series. This page contains images from film and digital but also artificially generated imagery.
The Archives index you are viewing now is sorted out on subject.

The subcollections Still-life, Minimal, Found Object, Rhombus and Abstract also have their own index pages with exclusive overviews, they are listed below. Often the individual pages in each collection have arrows to browse entries independently of the year.

Archives - Artificial
Besides the classic photos, a separate category Artificial realism contains AI generated imagery with mostly photorealistic properties. Like the regular photos it has also subcollections for Still-life, Found Object, and Abstract. Additionally, there is also a unique Surrealism subcollection.
All the AI generated images are also shown in the Photos indexes together with all the other imagery, but they can be identified by a small orange triangle in the thumbnails. The abstracts (classic or artificial), however, are separated from the rest; they have their own index page accessible via Abstract in all the page headers.
The browsable pages for the subcollections Artificial Still-life, Artificial Found Object, Artificial Surrealism and Artificial Abstract, as listed below, are kept separate from the same collections for the classic photos. The individual pages also have their own numbering with prefix "A_" = Artificial (A_001..A_999).
Together with a footnote "Artificial realism by Billy Axeman" in each individual page these measures should ensure there is no ambiguity between AI generated images and real photos at any moment.
