Abstract Object
Abstract Object is a subcollection in Abstract
Abstract objects don't represent any existing objects in real life (they are nonrepresentational), which is a practical definition of abstract without fuss. This is not different from abstract graphics, paintings, or photography, they only have an extra dimension. Of course the images of the abstract objects shown here on screen are two-dimensional, but it is possible to make a physical copy, in a workshop or with a 3D printer, which is in line with the tradition of creating abstract sculptures.
The pages with abstract objects on this website are mixed up with all the other abstracts, so to make them better accessible a list is added here specifically for these pages.
Note that obviously these images of abstract objects are not photo's or even modified photos, they are computer generated. So, to distinguish them from photography (the main subject on this website) the pages are marked with 'Synthetic 3D® by Billy Axeman'.
In Archives you can find an overview of all the abstracts sorted by year, and also a link to the Abstract Object page you are seeing now.
