Abandoning bricks for the better

 
This type of apartment buildings has always the same basic structure. It's a pity though mostly the bare concrete is covered with a brick wall, which instantly makes them look conventional and boring. To illustrate that, this particular building is shown in its unfinished state. The design has a curious combination of symmetries and irregularities, which would be very attractive in practice.
