This abstract diptych was found and ready-made. Panels like these that appear in an acceptable natural state are of course preferable to panels that need to be painted by hand (in a semi-weathered pattern); they appear genuine, it saves a lot of time, and it gets you instant gratification. Generally, these are some practical advantages of the found object.
