Another view of the building from More cubbyholes (Photos 2023-1). All residents left their apartments, including the bats in the walls. And to prepare for a pull down the contractor stripped the building until a hull of bare concrete and bricks remained. If you forget the proportions, this structure is not fundamentally different from a cabinet with sliding drawers. So that was the location where the people lived.
