Moiré pattern
Inexpensive dynamic decoration

One might wonder why the Moiré pattern effect isn't used on a greater scale in architecture. It can be a wonderful decoration for a building. In this case the facade with perforated panels interferes with similar panels on the fire escape. The pattern changes when walking along or when the building is approached.
