In this new series we will follow the development of a research centre for Unilever during its construction.
Unilever is building a new 'Foods Innovation Centre' near a university campus [1][2] which will concentrate the activities from Vlaardingen (the Netherlands), Heilbronn (Germany) and Poznan (Poland) in one location. The area is characterized by spectacular architecture, so my expectation is this will be worth documenting. The building area is about 240x260 meters square and situated opposite the university building 'Orion' (photos 1, 4, 5) and next to the 'FrieslandCampina Research Centre' (photo 7)[3].
In this first installment most photos are taken from the west and south side of the terrain. In Food for thought 2 more photos from the building area itself, made at the same time.
