Some extra photos to Real Estate 11 (Photos 2016-2) to show how concrete pillars are made.
A prefabricated steel armature is erected first and a plywood shape is put around it. The plywood is supported by a rig as shown in photo 1. Concrete is poured in from the top, where a man can stand to guide the process, hence the railing.

In photo 2 three pillars are prepared to be constructed on top of a ground beam. When the concrete is hardened the rig and the plywood are removed, with the result in photo 3. Walls are constructed in a similar way (photo 4).
