In this series the development of a new apartment complex to replace outdated housing that was tore down.
Finally activities are geared up and work has begun on the foundation. The first phase, pictured here, is to drill long vertical holes and to fill them with steel armature and concrete to form columns that reach down into the solid sand-bed below. In a later stage a garage and buildings will be put on top of them.

In photo 4 the pattern of already molded columns. The square structure on the right is filled with concrete too. It is a specially made fundament for a tall crane which will be bolted in place and with sufficient reach to cover the whole area.
The concrete for this project is produced in the ready made concrete facilty pictured in Concrete (Photos 2014-2 section), Mixer (2015-1), Silo 1 and Crane (2015-2).
