This is a follow-up on the 'Demolition' series (Photos 2015-1) to document the building of a new housing estate in the cleared area.
On this page some more photos from the check dam that is built to control groundwater flow. The area is about 100 meters long and wide (330x330 ft) and dams are built on two sides of it.

The tops of the beams incorporated in the concrete wall are chopped off to a standard height with a cutting torch and a rig for the size (photo 3, 4).
