As a follow-up on the 'Demolition' series (Photos 2015-1) a new one is started here to document the building of a new housing estate in the cleared area.
The area is slightly contaminated and the first step will be to clean it. In the photos below the soil is dug up and small signboards are put on the heaps to mark them. The gear in the background of photo 1 is for the construction of a check dam to control groundwater flow.
