These homes have a curious extension on top that doesn't harmonize with the rest, but when you see a herd of them it doesn't look too bad (photo 3). The roof is made from bent aluminum beams. They were seamed at construction time by using a funny little robot that was sent crawling upwards along the ridges, dragging a power cord behind.
