The 'Demolition' series documents the pull-down of an apartment complex to be replaced by a new housing estate. The photos below are taken one week after 'Demolition 4' [1].
In this final stage only the tower with the stairways is still standing. The building is literally cut to pieces with an hydraulic shear on a crane while water is sprayed to minimize spreading dust around (photo 2, 3).

Two days later it's gone (photo 5). The concrete rubble is further reduced to smaller pieces to get rid of the steel and recycled.
