Concrete wall protecting fragile house

As an extension to 'Decayed farmhouse' in the 2014-2 Photos section some more photos were shot from the backside when finally no cars and containers were spoiling the view.

This side the house is facing a plane from which it is separated by a strange low wall that looks like Pre-Columbian remnants (photo 4, 5). The wall is stacked up from concrete beams, each measuring about 8 x 0.35 x 0.35 meters, probably to prevent sand and gravel washing away to the lower level where the house is located.
