Rusty winch near the ruins of a brickworks.

This rusted winch was found near the ruins of a brickworks. The river from where they got the clay is just visible in the background. On the left side a railway on which the carriages with fresh baked bricks were pulled out of the factory by the winch.

The engine to drive the winch is missing, it was probably connected to the big cog to the right. I guess the claw on top is a brake. On the left side a drum with groves to haul the cable.
